I didnt hear these songs when I watched Daria, whats up with that?

These songs were included with the orignal broadcast of daria, but were taken out of the DVD and VHS copies of Daria. This is because it cost too much to license all the music in the show. These songs were replaced with a generic soundtrack in the DVD and VHS editions.
